**Self-Care for Massage and Bodywork Therapists**
As Massage and Bodywork Therapists, we focus much of our energy on others' physical well-being. However, we often overlook our own self-care. Maintaining a healthy routine can help Reduce Stress and Prevent Burnout!!!
Brief Overview: Practicing mindful self-care through Zen involves paying attention to the small details in our lives. This approach combines mindfulness awareness with a deep commitment to self-care. It teaches us how to elevate our true selves through Zen and sustain that growth through mindful self-care. Zen provides the framework, while mindful self-care functions as the ongoing maintenance. During our time together, Jill will equip you with practical tools and exercises to practice independently and with other participants throughout the course, along with easy-to-understand meditation, mindfulness, and mindful breathwork and stretching practices. Achieving this requires daily mental training through healthy home self-care routines, much like creating a fitness plan for your body. Upon completing this course, you will:
- Discover insights that promote a healthier mind and body, helping reduce stress more easily.

Thai Hand & Foot Reflexology - 2 Day Course | 12 CE's
Experience the Benefits of Thai Hand and Foot Reflexology for a Balanced Body!
Brief Overview: The hustle and bustle of daily life often leave us feeling anxious, tense, and in need of natural stress relief. Thai Hand and Foot Reflexology techniques may help by targeting pent-up tension and stress. These gentle, noninvasive, and holistic touch therapies are easy to learn and implement. From the soles of the feet to the top of the head, users often report feeling great as pressure points are stimulated and toxins are released from the body.
Thai Hand and Foot Reflexology is a natural alternative therapy that, unlike some conventional treatments, targets imbalances within the mind and body to restore energy flow, balance, and harmony. However, this therapy is not meant to diagnose medical conditions and does not replace a physician's judgment, advice, or opinion.
Thai Hand and Foot Reflexology is one of the oldest traditional healing arts and medicines. This holistic practice is based on the belief that specific areas of the hands and feet correspond to different parts of the body, internal organs, and systems via reflex points in the arms, hands, legs, and feet. In Thai practices, these are connected to 72,000 energy lines (sen). For centuries, cultures have used hand and foot massage to promote health. Today, millions worldwide practice this technique to achieve balance, relax the nervous system by removing blockages, improve circulation, ease pain, reduce stress and anxiety, facilitate healing, and enhance overall well-being.
Note: Thai Hand and Foot Reflexology can be done on a massage table or a recliner. Clients remain fully clothed throughout the session.
Rejuvenation Begins from the Ground Up! Our Hands and Feet contain a Map of the Entire Body…
Learning Outcomes: During Jill’s course, participants will
1. Develop skills for softening tissue, applying pressure to specific points, and using various Reflexology and Thai massage techniques on the hands and feet to influence different parts of the body.
2. Enhance your understanding by exploring reflexology maps and charts to identify reflex points and zones, and learn about the 10 main "SEN" energy lines that are stimulated for holistic body treatment.
3. Explore effective techniques for using stretches that unblock the body's natural energy channels and stimulate reflex points in the hands and feet, boosting performance and restoring balance.
4. You will also learn practical ways to use, for example, thumbs, knuckles, and palms to prevent burnout, as well as when and where to use a wooden Thai stick.
5. Understand the benefits, contraindications, and precautions.

Thai Table Stretch Massage - 2 Day Course | 12 CE 's
A Holistic Approach to Mind, Body, and Spirit Wellness!
Brief Overview: This course introduces various Thai techniques and stretches to enhance overall well-being. It focuses on mindfulness, guiding clients through breathing exercises that promote slow, meditative breathing, creating a balanced experience for the body and mind. Participants will practice rhythmic rocking, kneading, pressing, compression, and joint manipulation to alleviate muscle soreness, tension, and fatigue throughout the body.
The course also covers methods for activating 10 primary Sen (energy) lines, called Sip Sen in Thai, and acupressure points, using techniques such as palming, thumb pressure, and elbow pressure, which can significantly influence bodily functions, induce relaxation, and promote grounding. Additionally, it includes guidance on applying assistive stretching techniques to release energy blockages that can impede circulation and blood flow, thereby helping to prevent stiffness, knots, pain, and other discomforts.
Learning Outcomes:
What will participants learn from Thai Table Stretch Massage?
1. History of Thai Massage
2. Benefits of Thai Massage
3. Explore the 10 main “Sen” energy lines, along with Thai methods that enable participants to customize their practice. These approaches support the body’s natural functions by releasing stagnation and blockages, stimulating energy lines, and employing Thai techniques and practices.
4. Strategies to improve breathwork practices across the course aim to build confidence, encourage smooth client collaboration, activate the parasympathetic nervous system, and foster calmness and relaxation.
5. Gain a better understanding of the advantages of stretching and learn to perform a full-body passive stretch that integrates joint mobilization and tissue softening. This method helps clients move more smoothly, elongating tight muscles and fascia and making challenging movements easier.
6. Learn to develop body awareness, maintain proper posture and body mechanics, and use less energy when performing techniques by making simple adjustments during stretching, i.e., such as with clients, to prevent misalignment that could lead to long-term neck, shoulder, back, or other pains for the practitioner.
7. Consultation, Contraindications, Precautions, and Intake Process
8. Following several demonstrations by the facilitator, practitioners will have time to practice hands-on techniques during the course. These include Thai massage methods, Sen awareness and techniques, breathwork, and passive stretches, which are incorporated into Thai Table Stretch Massage strategies and can be used in daily professional routine sessions.
Jill White-Huffman, the facilitator, hopes that everyone taking this course will not only learn how to create personalized treatments for each client using Thai Table Stretch Massage techniques but also gain the confidence to do so. Her goal is to support you in developing these skills in a welcoming and encouraging environment.
