As Massage and Bodywork Therapists, we devote much of our energy to caring for others' physical well-being. But it's also important to remember to take good care of ourselves. Following a healthy routine can help reduce stress and prevent burnout!

Practicing mindful self-care through Zen is all about paying close attention to the little details in our lives. This gentle approach combines mindfulness with a heartfelt commitment to self-care. It encourages us to nurture our true selves through Zen and keep that growth alive with mindful self-care. Zen offers a helpful framework, while mindful self-care acts as a kind, ongoing routine.
During our time together, Jill will share practical tools and simple exercises you can do on your own or with others in the course. These include easy meditation, mindfulness, breathwork, and stretching practices that are easy to follow. Remember, reaching this goal involves daily mental habits—think of it as creating a wellness plan for your mind and body. Join us as we explore ways to boost your well-being, reduce stress, and prevent burnout, helping you become a healthier, happier you.
During this course, you will:
- Explore helpful insights to support a healthier mind and body, making stress relief feel more manageable and achievable.
- Identify the factors that might trigger stress, reveal vulnerabilities, and create barriers to our well-being, helping us prevent burnout and stay resilient.
- Discover seven different aspects of self-care and see which areas could use a little extra love and attention. Embrace nourishing and consistent routines that support your well-being every day.
- Explore practical mindfulness, meditation, and informed dialectical behavioral skills to support you in managing feelings of emotional overwhelm, impulsive reactions, and interpersonal conflicts. These practices can help foster lasting wellness. Consider weaving them into your daily routines to bring more fulfillment and harmony to your life and work, enriching your overall life skills.
- Discover simple ways to weave mental and physical breathing exercises, along with therapeutic stretches, into your daily wellness routine. These gentle practices can make a meaningful difference in how you feel every day.
- Take Home a Toolbox full of practical tools you can rely on anytime. It's a wonderful way to be prepared and confident in handling various situations.
