HIP PAIN
Hip Pain can often come from intense muscle strain or wear and tear, which might also limit your hip movements. Depending on what’s causing it, you might notice pain in different areas like the groin, front of the hip, or buttock. Common Reasons Include Arthritis, Bursitis, Tendinitis, Muscle Strains, and Hip Labral Tears. These conditions usually involve inflammation—bursitis and tendinitis are often caused by overuse, while arthritis happens when cartilage wears down and bones start rubbing together. Symptoms of arthritis can include swelling, stiffness, and difficulty moving. Bursitis occurs when the bursa, a small fluid-filled sac that reduces friction inside the joint, becomes inflamed—especially if you overuse the joint, have poor conditioning, or poor posture. Tendinitis, which affects the tendons and has similar causes and treatments, can also be a concern. A hip labral tear might develop gradually or happen after an injury. If you’re experiencing any of these issues, it’s best to consult your doctor. If there are no medical concerns, massage therapy might help alleviate some discomfort.
